Why take the test?
- You want to know if you've had the Covid-19 virus?
- Do you want to know if there is a risk of contagion to your family (children, parents...), your loved ones, your colleagues?
- If you had symptoms or if you are asymptomatic, the only solution to know if you have passed the Covid-19 is to test it.
What does the test detect?
- The test will indicate whether antibodies that could immunize against Covid-19 have been generated.
- This serological test does not detect the virus but the body's immune response to it.
- It detects the type of immunoglobulin: IgM, indicative of a recent infection, or IgG, indicative of a secondary, and therefore more prolonged, response.
How the test works

Understanding the results
- The test will present a series of coloured lines coinciding with one of the 3 marks: 'C', 'lgG' and lgM'.
- The resulting pattern will clearly indicate whether the result is positive, negative, or invalid
- If only the control line (C) appears, the result is negative
- If all 3 lines appear, it indicates the possibility of acute secondary infection.
- If the control line and the 'lgM' line appear, it indicates the possibility of primary infection.
- If the control line and 'lgG' line appear, it indicates the possibility of a secondary infection or past infection (the disease has already been passed and lgG antibodies are present).
- If no mark appears in the control region (C), the result is invalid and a new test must be performed with a new cassette.
- The color intensity in the IgG and/or IgM test line region(s) may vary depending on the concentration of COVID-19 antibodies in the specimen. Therefore, any color cast in the IgG and/or IgM test line region(s) should be considered positive.
